Acers Weekly Quiz Contest Rules
- The contest is open only to registered users enrolled in at least one course on the Acers Academy of Excellence website.
- Each participant may submit only one attempt per weekly quiz.
- The quiz contains 25 multiple-choice questions. There is no negative marking.
- Questions and answer options are randomized separately for each participant.
- Once the quiz is submitted, answers are locked and cannot be changed.
- The participant’s score, name, provisional rank, and answer explanations are displayed after final submission.
- Ranking is determined by highest score, then shortest completion time, then earliest valid submission.
- The provisional leaderboard may change as additional participants complete the quiz.
- Weekly prizes are: First Prize ₹500, Second Prize ₹200, and Third Prize ₹100, unless different amounts are displayed for a particular contest.
- Winners are subject to administrator verification, including identity, enrolment, duplicate-account, and attempt-integrity checks.
- The administrator may disqualify fraudulent, automated, shared, duplicated, manipulated, or otherwise invalid entries.
- Prize payment details and identity information may be requested from verified winners. Applicable taxes or statutory deductions are the winner’s responsibility.
- By participating, users consent to publication of their display name, score, rank, and winner status on the website.
- The Acers Academy may modify, postpone, suspend, or cancel a contest where technical, legal, security, or operational circumstances require it.
- The administrator’s decision regarding eligibility, scoring, verification, disqualification, and prize allocation is final and cannot be challenged under any circumstance.
Quiz Timing
- Each participant has a maximum total time of 8 minutes 20 seconds to complete all 25 questions.
- Each question has a maximum answering time of 20 seconds.
- When the 20-second question timer expires, that question is automatically locked, recorded as not answered, and receives zero points. The participant is then moved to the next question.
- When the overall quiz timer expires, the quiz is automatically submitted and all remaining unanswered questions receive zero points.
